To be completely honest I’m getting a little bored with hiking. Is there anything else affordable I can do to spice things up?

Check Concord parks and rec. Looks like walking, pickleball, dodgeball, yoga, disc golf. If you're looking for cheap, any local rec that offers adult classes might be good.
