I can tell you that Kindercare in Portsmouth is NOT a good option. Here is why:

They were obviously understaffed when we had our child there. Everyone seemed stressed. The girls/women there definitely tended more to their own children and/or co workers children who were there. It was very obvious.

Also, theyll call you at least once a week to come pick up your “sick” child who is not sick at all (they’re just understaffed) and have to meet teacher to child ratios.

Youll have to pay full price and also miss out on work, as you’ll be picking up your “sick” child often.

Fuck that place

i also want to point they are really expensive for the little they offer. When my kids went there they did not offer lunch either. if you can get into seacoast community I would take that over almost anyone else in that area.

I read the yelp reviews on that place and most said very similar things! That’s definitely what I’m trying to avoid. Thank you!!

Minus being expensive (all the options were not cheap anyway) we had a pretty good experience with Kindercare. They also had the most hours open which is important depending on your work schedule. And frankly, you are not going to be able to choose where your kids go. It will be who has an opening, if they have an opening. And it's not a good situation for that. They are all understaffed and there are usually waitlists a year long. Many of the places, and schools in the area are facing teacher shortages because they don't get paid enough to deal with pain in the ass kids and parents.
