Shows how clueless Trump really is. Bolduc lost because he was a poor candidate who did not resonate with New Hampshire citizens.
If the republicans cared about fielding quality candidates like McConnell said in August (instead of Trump boot lickers) then the results would have been different nation wide. Hopefully the GOP will implode under the weight of his ego.

I guarantee that Mitch McConnell has said "told you so" every ten minutes for the past 12 hours.

Well explain the Hasan win? A candidate less engaging than a pair of beige khakis without a coherent political platform (aside from the acceptable platitudes towards abortion) who is an absolute establishment ass muncher.
While I remain hopeful the Republican party will exhibit some soul searching I am worried what the left learned: promote extreme Republicans in the primary, avoid a political vision, rely on extreme funding through party apparatus (including dark money) to inundate the population with negative messaging of opponent. Could the democratic party get shittier in the next 2 years? Sadly, I believe it is unavoidable with the outcome of this election.

Hassan’s win is super easy to explain: she isn’t a Trump boot licker.

This also explains Sununu's win.

She certainly presents as an establishment ass muncher.

Better than a Trump boot kicker that’s for sure and explains why she absolutely demolished Bolduc.

I like to imagine that is true... but I cant say i am very confident she is a better choice.

It was her, the guy who couldn't commit to which side of a conspiracy he wanted to milk, or the guy who wanted to abolish child labor laws.

New Hampshire is about as “establishment” as any state in the country (when it comes to general elections anyway).
CoolAbdul t1_ivr7ka0 wrote
Not really these days. The rest of the country has gone crazy.

People don't like change, so they voted for who was already there? Better the devil you know, than the one you don't.
manwhole t1_ivqtzma wrote
Is that why people chose trump in 2016?

There wasnt an incumbent then. As incumbents Sununu, Hassan, and Pappas all got reelected for NH.
