Exactly. If he’d never said it in the first place, he wouldn’t have needed to flip-flop and might have been considered a serious candidate.

I hadn’t heard about the vaccine one, and forgot about the litter box thing. OK, maybe the election denial wasn’t the only thing keeping him from being a serious candidate.
