My dead river account says the Daily Cash prices is $1.87 per gallon so if you are all customers I’d recommend filling up now if you can. Super cheap compared to other methods. I can’t remember who it was that was posting propaganda trying to get people to join the price lock website but I hope most people took my advice and steered clear from them.

Everything I’m seeing, including my own account, is $3.30+ for propane. Can you link an actual page or url that shows 1.87?

It just says pending delivery now. I’ll post a pic of my invoice when it’s delivered.

The NH DoE lists the average price for propane in NH for last week as $3.81/G. Please do post your invoice once received.

There are 2 different propane prices. One if you own your tank ( like $2.49) and the higher price is if you lease your tank (like $4.49). Huge difference.

Hmm that’s odd. Dead river took over my buried tank from Irving a couple years back. So I assume they own it. I chose to pay daily price rather than lock in

If it’s a buried tank you probably own it.

It’s a newer house. Builder had agreement with Irving. It had to be purchased from Irving by dead river. I’m assuming I do not own it.

Interesting— Around here no one will do a leased tank larger than 250lbs. My supplier in Maine definitely won’t do a large leased tank (and certainly not a buried one) unless you purchase it from them.

But I didn’t… dead river purchased it from Irving. You’re trying to sound like you know what you’re talking about and I’m literally telling you I don’t own it and it’s 500 gallons. And it’s buried.

The price on their website right now is $5.55. I'm not sure where you're seeing $1.87, but I highly doubt it's correct.

I guess I’ll show you my invoice when it comes in? Are you sure that’s not the oil price?

Completely misread your post, I thought you said oil.

I just scrambled to put in an order at that rate and here's what I'm getting in Plymouth:

Price Per Gallon $5.7990

Lol there’s no way.

Actually, this is just for my 50-gallon hooked up to my stove, I heat with oil. If you're heating with a 500-gallon tank maybe it's a different rate?

Why does it say maximum order 45 gallons? My account just says “fill the tank.” And was $1.87.

I made a quick edit - I only have propane for my stove so it's a 50 gallon tank, maybe that's part of it?

Gotcha that makes sense. My heat, hot water and stove is propane. I only use about 500 gallons per year though. I filled up last in August for $2.04.

The way this subreddit is setup it defaults to filter by new. I had to go look through my old comments to find it.
