Looks like something ate a bunch of Bittersweet berries and had a high fiber blowout...

Scat from an animal eating rose hips would be my guess

Interesting my neighbors do have a couple rose bushes in their gardens And squirrels tend to eat rose hip which accounts for the small piles through out the yard, thank you very much!!

Can't see I've ever seen anything like that. Now I'm curious too!

I have a bird feeder and get a lot of blue jays and squirrels at it but nothing I look up points to what it may be. Idk if that info helps lol

After further research It seems to be skunk and or possum poop after they were eating from my bird feeder and the neighbors rose bushes thanks everyone!!

It almost looks like some sort of dysmorphic cluster of amanita growth. That being said, I have no idea what it is. That’s just what it looks like to me.

Edit: it looks like defected seeds too… just done know what any fruit matter would be so red around it.

As sigogglin said it looks like scat from an animal eating from a rose plant. I get a lot of squirrels, raccoons, possums and the occasional black bear. I think that makes the most sense

I keep finding these weird piles in my yard, Manchester area. Just curious if anyone knows what’s it is or what causes it. TIA

Neighborhood dog ate salsa out of a garbage can and then barfed it up in your yard
