Hey guys I’m newly single and want to go out with some girlfriends NEw Years Eve (pref somewhere I can wear a sparkly dress and perhaps get belligerently intoxicated) but I’ve mostly stayed inside the last few years 😂😂😂 any recommendations for fun bars/clubs/events that would have something going on in Southern NH?(pref Manchester but any of the surrounding like Nashua, Salem, even into MA if it’s special enough!)

Want something that would be appropriate for 20-something’s but maybe not a…, college scene lol

The center of NH hotel on elm in Manchester used to do a dueling pianos/ DJ event with catered dinner. We did it one year, not bad.

Portsmouth might be your best bet semi locally. Pre Covid they had a fun bar with a live band in a speakeasy type place.

Portsmouth, Gas light night club does an awesome New Year’s Eve event. Jimmy’s jazz club also does an awesome event. Not cheap at Jimmy’s and they sell out. Get something going quick. Get a hotel room and have breakfast at friendly toast or the goat.

Murphys taproom, thirsty moose, strange brew tavern, the goat, bonfire. Definitely go in a group though, maybe pepper spray also.... there's alot of creepers out there. Stay safe and have fun.

This sub is full of uptight thin skinned folks who somehow think reddit is real life and not an anonymous shit talking board. It's also hard to convey humor on the internet sometimes.

FTR, it made me chuckle because as soon as I saw the OP's post, I knew someone or multiple someones were going to post what you did.

I saw the original post almost immediately after it went up, so I was first to comment. This factor weighed heavily on my decision to make the joke.

In my defense, a cashier had trouble ringing in one of my items yesterday and I didn't say ''that one must be free.''

I kinda transitioned from college directly into hosting my own / going to friends places so I don’t have any first hand experience but I did some googling because it sounded like a fun topic.

There’s a ski themed thing at the press room in Portsmouth that probably isn’t a sparkly dress type of place but sounds like something I would enjoy. Dunno if that’s your speed.
