Thank you
Nh neighborworks helped us find programs for our home.
Also USDA Rural Housing loans and grants.
My ex wife and I went throw an FHA loan when we bought our house in 2012amd it went through pretty quick and was mostly painless.
You might try a web search for "new hampshire first time home buyers program", and you should see some results. Also, try asking your financier and/or bank, because they will be very well aware of your status as a first time buyer. You've already spoken with your bank, right?
I sent you a dm :)
Also ask on r/realestate. You’ll get additional recommendations for how to go through the whole process of buying a home as a first time buyer, including some nuances for NH.
Same. We also had a buyers realtor that looked out for us
DM'ed you
USDA Rural development
Sure, we got a house. That part was great.
Everything after? Really bad experience.
Get the education from the program, but do not be lured into low % down payments. The market is due for a correction, if you put less than 10% down payment down, there is a chance that you could be upside down in your mortgage.
Yes same here in 2018. Had to put hardly anything down. Happy with it
Same here, bought mine in 2018. Had a great realtor and my mortgage company was great and super helpful too.
They used to have a local office in Epping. It closed, so now we have no local agent to talk to.
Phone waits are 1-2 hours to talk to anyone.
Trying to refi? You must first buy yourself an appraisal, then wait a few weeks for them to send you the paperwork.
I mean, like I said, getting the house was great. We probably wouldn't have been able to otherwise at the time. I doubt we'd go through it again.

You should reach out to New Hampshire Housing, our state's housing agency. They have programs for first time homebuyers.
