I'm currently in school in a "soft lockdown". I always hear about school shootings but i never thought it would happen in NH. It's said that the reports are hoaxes i hope this is true.

edit: Concord PD said threats were not credible, Thank god

They're hoaxes. They've hit quite a few schools.

Yeah, got an email from my kid's school syaing although my kid's school was not targeted, a few NH schools were and they are viewed as hoaxes right now, but the Police and DHS were monitoring the situation and Police will be in and out of the school today. So... Yay

The difference between a "hoax" and the real thing is dead children and teachers. I hope they're able to track this down.

I work in Concord, and we got notified of the lockdown as well. It's so scary.

Someone has been calling a lot of police departments reporting them.

Sad that they're hoaxes - and I hope they find out who is behind it.

Im ready for the downvotes, and I know this would never happen here, but:

If fucking scum bags like this ever get caught, I feel a suitable consequence is cutting out their tongues.

Fuck these motherfuckers

and this is what makes me rage over events like this.

Why are people going around deliberately scaring children, faculty, their families, people working nearby, and all the while wasting police time.

I could almost see a distraction hoax being used if someone was to rob a bank on the other side of town, but these POSs are just doing it to scare people.

I'm surprised it took this long after Sanford.

Of course they’re not credible. Nobody who has carried out a mass shooting has called a bunch of different schools, and threatened to mass shoot them.

My opinion was pretty unpopular on another post, but it seems more likely to me that whomever is doing this is more interested in stimulating a reaction from law enforcement and our lawmakers than simply scaring civilians, or actually carrying out an event of this type.

That would be a terrible look for administration or law enforcement. If a threat came in and they ignored it? A better question would be if they showed up to try do it after threatening. Assume it’d be covered by LE and they’d leave.

Possible reason: The "independent thinkers " now get to wail about how unsafe the schools are, and that the best way to "keep the children safe" is to homeschool, and the State should approve those Freedom Fund vouchers immediately.
