Just moved back to NH not long ago and noticed that services like Drizly, Instacart, even Hannaford, don't do any alcohol delivery same day.

It appears all the available delivery is scheduled shipping only. Anyone know of any place in Rockingham county that delivers same day?

From what I've read the law requires the business selling, to also be the delivery service. Maybe this is why?

If I'm lucky my wife might bring me a beer from the fridge, but that's rare.

Life is all about timing and determination. Next time, wait for your wife to open the fridge, then you start criticizing her mom. Not only will you get plenty of beers thrown at you, you’ll probably get pepperoni and other snacks too. Win-win.

Could take months for this scenario to present itself, but I’ll give it a try.

During the pandemic you could get alcohol with takeout/delivery. I’m not sure if that is still available.

Since almost all the liquor is sold by the State, the best you can probably do is use the curbside pickup at a NH State Liquor Store.

You can deliver yourself to the liquor store and then deliver your booze home lazy bones

Most of those haven't started doing alcohol delivery in NH. I do a lot of the delivery apps for extra money, and none of the ones I do have started alcohol yet.

No such luck. I've lived in the state for four months, and I've come to the conclusion that the motto of "live free or die" is more of a hope than a promise.

No, during the pandemic they relaxed the rules, but there is no alcohol delivery service. Since the sale of alcohol in NH is controlled by a state agency, there are no laws that allow for alcohol to be delivered. The only exception would be if you had it shipped, like one of those one of the month clubs.

Unfortunately no. Stock up ahead of time and if you're thinking of new years be safe!

Burt’s Better Beers in Manchester was on Drizly for a brief period last Spring but not anymore. So, it’s possible but sounds like the retailers may not feel the juice is worth the squeeze.

AFAIK alcohol delivery is illegal in the state outside of distributors for commercial businesses.
