I'm at work and on my 4th coffee. I'm the only person here, I have no meetings or work to do, and I'm paid salary. I have no idea why the hell I came in today.

Go home?

You know what? I just made the executive decision for you; you're free to leave whenever you want. If managment or HR gives you a hard time, send them my way.

I'm at work too. Alone. And the damn closet door in the owner's office is opening and closing by itself because I think the wind but I'm paranoid it's a ghost so solidarity brother.

I love those types of days.

Was walking around talking to myself (out loud) in the same situation yesterday until I realized... there was one other person in the office.

Woke up to a power outage in Auburn.

My husband took our generator to his shop a while ago and despite my many maaaaaaaany times reminding him to grab the darn generator with him yesterday, he of course forgot it so now we wait.

God bless all the crews working out there trying to get our power back on! Praying for everyone's safety

Aside from the generator, we have some power banks, that were all at 0%. I thought about charging them but got lazy.

Getting geared up to head down to the brook that runs through my property i love watching it top it’s banks. If i didn’t need clean pee for work I’d bring a pipe full of kind nuggets

The wind has pushed my grill to the opposite side of my deck and I have been out of power since 7:30am. At least my portable generator fired right up.

Same. My generator has been running well considering this was the 1st time I've run it in about a year.

Went out about an hour ago. Dirty martini. Switching to Merlot so I don’t have to open the fridge.

Edit to add that my RV cover became a sail sometime overnight. That was fun wrangling it this morning.

My power came back at 330, just in time for the big wind burst that hit SNH. Now neighboring streets are out

Power didn't go out, but it flickered around the time this thread was posted. Hit the road to get breakfast and saw a set of traffic signals showing solid green and flashing yellow at the same time. Second time I've seen signals show impossible combinations in Nashua, thought they were supposed to have failsafes to not do that.
