I would love to explore more of the restaurants that give the North Country its charm, rather than sticking to camping meals each time I'm up. I found this article that I would like to reference when I'm in Lincoln in a few weeks, but are there any spots worth visiting that this writer may have missed? TIA! https://mortadellahead.com/best-restaurants-lincoln-nh/

Black Mountain Burger is excellent.

Polly's Pancake Parlor is a drive from Lincoln but it's great even if it is expensive and a tourist trap.

Common Man used to be excellent - it's now a much more expensive 99 with food not as good as 99.

Woodstock Inn food reminds me of a more-northern Puritan Restaurant. That's not a compliment.

I second black mtn burger! Went in for the first time a few weeks ago, 100/10.

Great beer. Food is not great, and nothing close to the Puritan.

I quite disagree on Black Mountain Burger. Stopped there after a hike once. My bison burger (cheddar, bacon) was a 7/10 and was a bit dry even for lean bison, her Hawaiian burger (teriyaki, pineapple) was like a 5/10, mediocre sauce and the saddest little pineapple slice. Very disappointing based on reviews. I will say the fries were very good.

One Love Brewery has awesome food. Quite frankly the restaurants in Lincoln are usually MOBBED so expect a wait everywhere you go.

I’ve always had bad service at one love, but the food has been pretty good. Might be a staffing issue with the whole labor shortage thing going on, though.

The blueberry maple glazed Salmon at One Love is one of the tastiest meals I've ever had!

Gypsy Cafe has the most unique menu you’ve ever seen. I haven’t had anything bad there either. It’s wicked eclectic. You can’t miss it.

El Charro the Mexican restaurant is pretty damn good IMO and I’m from TX. It’s also got pool and pinball and video games if you’ve got kids or a man like me to entertain.

If you do go to One Love, (or if not) stop by Burgeon Outdoor in their shopping center. They make quality gear right there in front of you. Great folks and mission.

Oooo tapas at the depot at the dinner train is the best!!!

I love black mountain burger.

White mountain bagel has really good breakfast sandwiches and wraps for lunch.

In my opinion, flapjacks and woodstock inn for breakfast are always busy and overpriced.

Black mountain burger was great when I was there a few years ago. The steak house nearby was pretty disappointing.

Thai 9 is my go-to. It’s relatively affordable and really hits the spot after a day of skiing or hiking. Plus, I hate all the crowds in Lincoln, so I can just call ahead and get takeout without waiting.

Is it the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to? Nah. But it’s above average, and definitely the best I’ve found in a ski town.

My family and I have gone to Nachos for years! It's our little inside joke, because most of the time SOMETHING goes wrong, but we continue to go because the food is always really good. I'm a huge fan of their margaritas, also. It's not a classy place, but it's definitely worth a visit.

Jimmy Seas in Lincoln is fantastic. El Charro is our good stand-by… the food isn’t AMAZING but it’s not bad and we can usually get a table when everything else is slammed (came in clutch on Columbus Day Weekend!) Pemi Public House is good, and we LOVE the burgers and the staff at Merlands! If you wanna get out of town a little bit, Rek-lis in Bethlehem is good, Iron Furnace Brewing in Franconia is a cute spot, and I love Schilling and Littleton Freehouse Taproom in Littleton too!

I strongly feel that Woodstock Station is overrated 🤷🏼‍♀️😂 the food has never really stood out to me, and it’s always too hard to get into.

Overrated, overpriced, stupid long waits.

I’ve never had to wait too long, and didn’t think it was “overrated and overpriced”.
