I never take "vacations" but I have been feeling really burnt out after these past years (MH therapist) and I think I want a little escape this winter... Thanks in advance!

My son loved the red jacket in RIP
Snowflake Inn Jackson- no kids allowed, jacuzzi in room
Or wildcat tavern!!!!
Any place that absolutely restricts kids.
Amazing you read my mind 😂
Heck yes for jacuzzi!!!!
Great idea!!! Never been in Portsmouth around holidays. Must be nice!!
There’s a nice heated pool too
Just looked it up and I guess it is closed because of a major fire in july! 😳
My SO and I go to the Inn at Ellis River in Jackson every February and we always have a wonderful time.
The Mountain View Grand Resort and SPA is EXACTLY what you’re looking for.
Lol the red jacket is the opposite place I’d suggest if you are looking for cozy & quiet down time. Kids up the wazoo.
I’d look at the Notchland Inn in Hart’s Location. From there you can go splurge on spa treatments (Debony Salon in Jackson, or there’s a foot soak place in North Conway). I’m sure Portsmouth would be lovely if you wanted something more walkable for amenities, though!
The Common Man Inn in Plymouth. It has cozy rooms and spa where you can get all sort of relaxing things like massages, facials, pedicures, etc. It's has a pool with an awesome waterfall.
The Adair Inn in Bethlehem.
100% this.
I took my fiancee up there for her birthday years ago and she absolutely loved it. Got a haircut in the tower iirc.
I had a good time too, but my meal had pearl onions and I hate them.
That's stuck with me for like 7 years lol

Winter hotel spot during holiday? Downtown Portsmouth. Not on the circle or Rte. 1, either.
I like walking through the town, especially at Christmas.
