Block Party Social in Hookset for pizza beer ax throwing laser tag arcade, if that sounds good.

We hosted a party there and there was plenty of space.

Closed for the season, they'll reopen in March. Definitely one of the best places for a group outing though, best paintball place in NE.

Check out the budweiser plant biergarden. They host it out for private venues. It's a nice spot.

Also if you're in Southern NH and willing to cross into Tewksbery there's Wamesit lanes. They got a private section with a few lanes you can reserve for parties.

Boston Billiards in Nashua also had a private room. 40 people would be extreme, and last I checked they recently rebranded into a casino instead of billiards so that might not be your thing.

Maybe check with the local Elks or Moose lodge? Some lodges rent out space for parties.

Depending where in the state, check Fody's in Nashua. Solid food, homey space, reasonable prices. They used to rent it out for free or cheap, depending on how much food you bought.
