Yikes. 30 hours of plowing has too be brutal. Glad the power was on (perfect timing) and you can get some serious sleep/rest before the next storm rolls in (Wed/Thursday from what I hear.

I find it a little ridiculous that power outages are such a common thing around winter storms. You'd think the electrical grid would be built to withstand the normal climate it's being built in. This can't be an impossible problem to solve.

Expensive in the short term. Cost effective in the long term. But they can fix the power outage and use that as an excuse to raise rates every year. Utilities, like healthcare, should not be a for profit business.
