Remember when they wanted to bring clean, cheap hydroelectric power from Canada to New England and NH residents shut it down? Man, we sure could use that now.

No that isn't how the grid works. Our energy, for the entire northeast, is essentially like a pool. And we draw from it what we need, where we need it. Transmission lines don't end at state or town lines.

Interesting enough.. Eversource divested from the hydroelectric dams they had. I don’t remember if they had to, as a result of the PUC.
