I'm trying to get out in nature more this summer and want to visit something like a grassy meadow or field of wildflowers in/around the White Mountains. Any recommendations?

Coming out of Twin Mountain, heading to Jefferson Jackson, there's a scenic overlook on the west side of the road. In early June (late May?) the lupines are up on the East side of the road.
On a bright sunny day, it's a spectacular location.

If you're willing to hike you can go to the Alpine Garden on the east side of Mount Washington. You can also wait until the Auto Road opens and drive up for a much shorter hike. One of my favorite trails in the White's
