Ideally if anyone has specifically had good experiences with any offices or doctors with handling these issues.

I'm covered by Yale Health and I had the good fortune to see Dr. Al-Bawardi through Yale Health. He unfortunately is relocating but I've been switched over to Dr. Gaydos, who seems to be great as well. If you have Yale insurance, I encourage you to seek out treatment through their IBD specialty folks. If your insurance is through someone else, I encourage you to mention this to them, and maybe expedite your referral their way.

I’ve had a lovely experience with Dr. Amika Reed at PACT. She works out of Hamden and Guilford. She’s been incredibly supportive and helped to finally figure out what was going on with me after 7 years of getting the runaround at another doctor in Stamford.
