Dew Drop is pretty purist and doesn’t do boneless.

I’d say Archie Moore’s would be best bet in New Haven.

So this is a unique style but Founders in Milford debones the actual wing and serves it that way and they are unreal. It’s a kinda fancy place though so may not be what you are looking for.

They should be more popular up here because they are delicious. I think the place I’m talking about slow braised them to get the bones out and then fries them after.

Archie's for local, J. Timothy's for best in state.

Southern Wings Express is just over the line in West Haven. Some of the best on the planet.

Ward 9 and Barcade have good wings, but it's hard to top Archie's. Bon Chon has double fried boneless wings which are worth a try. Outside of the city, Side Street in Hamden, Hard Hat and Hook and Ladder in North Haven are really good. Blind Rhino has been voted best in State, and for good reason. Wings are so pricey that I don't try them much anymore.
