On Google maps you can throw in the time you want to leave at and it gives you the average commute time based on the time you want to arrive or leave

Going out of New Haven isn’t bad but traffic is still crappy if you have to take 8 or the Merritt parkway. But that’s because those roads are terrible. New Haven is the place to live.

Would that be any commute to be worried about?

Used to work in Farmington and lived off whalley and would take 69 all the way to 84 daily and if u get it early enough it’s not bad. A bit worse on the way home

Based on years ago, mind you, among commutes I would think that one is not really bad, even taking the Merritt to 8. I knew a Waterbury city employee who chose Westville to live.
