Most of the libraries in the area have book clubs and other activities. Have her check out what's offered. :)

If you’re willing to venture slightly outside of New Haven, Thimble island brewing company in branford has a books and brews club. They meet the last Tuesday of every month and is geared toward 20’s to 30’s.
