If the electric bill is in your name, you can change the supplier online. you can get a username and password to log into UI's website that would be affiliated with the account and meter number displayed on your bill

Sanity check: your sanity is gone, UI doesn’t provide gas

UI and SCG are both Avangrid companies so the bills carry the same branding and look very similar

Who did you ask? If you asked the apartment they may have thought you wanted to use someone other than UI.

700sq ft condo on UI, I work from home and I use about 160kWh a month. Unless you're using electricity for heat that's an insane kWh, more than triple what I use in the summer for AC round the clock for comparison.

Yea its just the rate hikes from providers. If you have electric heat try and lower your heat to 60 at night 65 during the day. It will help.....throw a hoody on lol

I live in a 1BR with gas heat so my UI electric is only for cooling and appliances. I used 232 kwh this last cycle. Is your heat electric too? 941 kwh is insanely high

Not insane, I'm in an identical situation.
Right now you're getting screwed by UI. As mentioned by someone, you can switch suppliers and get a cheaper rate (I switched to $0.15 from Constellation when UI announced they were increasing to $0.22).
Before that, it seems your apartment has always been very inefficient. I have a very similar place (2B2B, ~1100sqft) and my baseline daily consumption is around 8-9 kWh which I blame on very old appliances. That, plus poor insulation and crappy A/C and I was paying $600 during summer and $200 even in this very mild winter.

If you’re not paying for electric heat or electric hot water, I would see about getting someone to look into whether things are hooked up correctly. It’s not out of the ordinary for tenants to be paying for common areas or other zones outside of their apartment, whether intended (nefarious) or not. Additionally, I had a high bill in my common area for a couple of years. Eventually my front porch light fixture went completely dead. Since replacing that fixture, my bill went back down to the original $$ each month, so clearly the issue with that fixture was sapping power.
But like others said, first step is changing provider. I changed to town square after the shock of seeing my last months bill. Rate went from 23 cents to 10.5 cents

Can you get UI to send someone out and see where all that electricity is going? Maybe another apt is tapping into yours or you have an insanely old and inefficient fridge?

Well shit. I just noticed the rate hike on my bill too for the energy supplier - UI is the default and used to be comparable but now they’re just ridiculous at nearly 22 cents. Just switched to a plan around 11 cents/kWh. The top comment has the right website to look for other suppliers.

You can change your electricity provider through the UI for one that has a lower generation rate. There are many to choose from that are close to what the old rates were, and some can be locked in for 6mos, 1 year, etc. Here is a link to the website where you can select another supplier rate
I would also say that 941 kWh seems like a lot to me. I have a 1br 1ba about 600 sqft and I pretty consistently use 71 kWh per month. I don't WFH, but I can't imagine that my usage would spike that much even if I was home all the time.
