Sadly not many real sports bars in New Haven. Trinity is a good place to watch sports though.

sports haven, i've never been in there...

that's more of a sports betting joint with full bar but I think they have the big screens

sports haven is actually really sick. they have sports betting kiosks now and some of the cheapest drinks/snacks in town. the only issue is that the hours are really bad for baseball (they close at 6pm on most weekdays).

the cannon!

Good suggestion. Cannon was the only place I found last year that would reliably have Mets games on.

the outside is aesthetically horrible, but inside Sports Haven theyve tons of big screens for sports, and horse racing is what they do. so it gets a low grade for any sports-bar atmosphere but technically you'll get to drink at the bar and watch tons of sports-baseball.

Rally Caps in North Branford and J.Roo's in North Haven are decent

How far are you looking to drive? Tony D's in Fairfield is a divey little sports bar shithole if that's vibe you are going for.

Arooga's in Shelton is kind of a drive but they have like 200 TVs
