I caught the last few seconds of a news story that mentioned a “ground breaking” and the reporter was standing in the parking lot where the colosseum was. Does anyone know if they are moving forward developing the site, and if so, what’s going there?

Let’s Go Hawks. Agreed. That being said More private dollars coming in they closed on the finances. IMO biggest part is building more biotech space on speculation. New Haven is doing ok

Apartments and medical office space. None of it the density that is appropriate, especially to build out New Haven as a biotech hub. And nowhere near enough apartments to meet demand.
New Haven County has one of the lowest apartment vacancy rates in the country.

Is Bridgeport really cheaper? Downtown New Haven and East Rock is pricey but the other neighborhoods don't seem a whole lot different from other parts of coastal CT in terms of prices.
