Found cat - East Rock

Hi all - I live in East Rock and have had a very sweet and friendly kitten appear on my porch for the last four evenings. It has some sort of tight gray collar but no tags, and is definitely not feral. Any ideas or suggestions as to what to do with it? I would bet it is (or was) someone’s pet. I have an appointment to take it to my vet next week but have no idea what to do with it in the meanwhile. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

There is a friendly small gray and white cat with a collar (not sure of the color) that roams the neighborhood. If it's the cat I'm thinking of, I believe they live on Nash st.

This cat is tortoiseshell - I’ve seen a number of cats in the neighborhood but this one seems new.

I’ve seen signs for a missing cat in foster st. Is he 6 lbs? I think the missing cats name is jelly. Got a pic?

Jelly Sandwich is a teeny cat but is actually 16 years old! She’s an outside cat and has a purple collar. She’s also super loud but she likes to roam the neighborhood and her owners said she always comes home!

Oh I just saw the missing poster shoot. I saw her like three days ago on Nicoll Street but I’ll make sure to tell my roommates if they see her again!!

There are posters around East Rock for a lost cat named Nokia the last week or two. If I recall correctly, it is mostly black with white marking on its face. I will check and edit this with more info when I see the poster again.

I’m sorry but this almost certainly isn’t Jelly. This cat is tortoiseshell. Will definitely keep my eyes peeled for jelly sandwich too
