A band I have been jamming with is looking for a full-volume practice space. Wondering if anyone had suggestions for a space for rent. Our sessions are typically two hours, once every week. Thanks for your help!

are you looking to rent your own space, or borrow someone else's once a week?

91 shelton ave is where most bands in new haven practice. things have been pretty bad there lately (the elevator never works, etc) but there have historically always been open spaces and bands looking to sublet.

I’m sure the band wouldn’t mind borrowing a spot and working around someone else’s schedule. We’re flexible. Right now we’re doing quiet practices in my buddy’s apartment. So low that my guitar sounds like something Fisher-Price would make. We can work with very limited access- maybe even twice per month.

Shelton is great but yeah, elevator has been busted for about a year and all the units are on the fifth floor.

10selden offers 3 hour slots on a stage.

A6 studios in waterbury or parkville sounds in hartford are other options.

almost bumped elbows with Allen Stone at parkville.
