So disappointing. So what's the point of the awning? Just decoration?

It's a regional farm share program that will deliver a case of great quality meat sourced from local farms - including steaks/sausage/chickens/etc. The catch is you don't have 100% control over what you get since they try to tailor it to supply /demand - but you can add on specific cuts on top of your share if they're available. Just as an example, last time I got about equal weights each of pork butt, chicken leg quarters, sirloin steak, ground beef, sausages, and whitefish (~10 lbs total) for about $100.
IMO it's not as good as having a good local butcher as you can't really request specific cuts and their variety isn't huge, but it's great quality and fun if like the challenge of building meals around what they send you.

This. That is why New Haven is unlike Providence, because you feel the vibrancy of Brown in the city, especially college hill. New Haven is kind of weird. It is not an inviting city, at least the downtown part. I do t feel comfortable walking around even though there are good businesses around. The urban layout is just bad.

Same here - it's also where some of the fancier places like Atticus and Provisions on State source their meat.

Try P and Market. They used to do a lot of their own butchering in house. No sure if it's the same.

Yes. I witnessed a fall of about 40 feet and the person was able to walk away (to the hospital)

New Haven needs some major high rise building now. Exceed 360 State. Go denser.

My dad was a firefighter in Hamden for 20 years, and participated in MANY stuck hikers on and around West and East Rock parks. Just asked him and he said people had fallen off and survived, but not serious falls from the top that he knew of.

No but probably bc the news doesn’t cover those instances.. it I’m sure many people have fallen on various less steep parts, especially while venturing off trails..

I don’t think it’s so bad. But even if it is, I appreciate the density. Lots of jobs without taking up a lot of space

I used Coldwell Banker with 0 issues:
