Edit: most likely language barrier. If the car is parked on the street, its free public parking space (unless its handicap parking and be mindful of parking certain hours, 2hr parking limit etc). If they keep calling the police and you see them, get it documented with a report. If not make sure that a cad entry was made. You can then take them to the local court for harassment charges.

We're planning to file harrassment charges. We took pictures already for proof.

Pictures are def great. But documentation is the key. When you go to court the reports is whats needed. In nj harassment is 2 or more times.

They did this since last year. It's becoming annoying now since we have to constantly check outside to see if there will be another parking officer.

Actually, I saw a body cam from the ticket officer yesterday, so is it possible to request for a copy of the video? It was the time that a ticket officer was the middle man because of the heated discussion with the neighbors outside; they were arguing how that street parking is theirs, which didn't end well for them that time.

Yes body cams are public records (with a few exceptions) go to your local dept and fill out an opra request.

Okay, thank you so much! I feel a little bit better. Was really down from work and from the constant harrassment from them. Thank you so much!
