My friend lives in Atlantic Highlands. He’s born and raised NJ (just to clarify, not a transplant) and refers to it as central.

I live on the west coast and was talking to someone I met in a bar who was from NJ. I mentioned “central jersey” and he looked me dead in the eyes and said “there’s no such thing as central New Jersey” lol.

😂😂 It’s a huge Jersey debate. North and South are definite but that middle portion is up for grabs!! 😂
