Does anyone know where in NJ that there might be a large sports facility?
A place that has like 6-8 soccer/football fields?
Or just a big flat grassy open space that can host a sporting event.

You would contact the recreation department of the municipality, and have to pay a few for a use permit most likely.

Check local towns parks&rec sites on their webpages. It cost me like $150 to book a set of 4 fields for 6 hours a few years back. That's as a resident, covered under a rider on my homeowner's insurance.
Commercial use would have cost more, and required a different insurance.

Overpeck Park in Teaneck/Ridgefield Park, you might need to contact Bergen County Parks if you're using it for an event

Middlesex county fair grounds on cranbury road. Johnson and Thompson parks. I’d say any large park Probably.

East Brunswick, Monroe, South Brunswick, North Brunswick, Montgomery, Somerset (Franklin) etc etc all have large municipal parks where kids soccer and lacrosse tournaments are held. I don’t know how you go about booking them but my kids go to events there for lacrosse where 6 or more games are going on at once.
