Budget of 350k . What parts of south Jersey would you look at ? I hear cherry hill, Williams town, Washington twp are some good ones .

In terms of that —What areas in cherry hill , Williams town or Washington township should I focus on when looking at houses to buy? I hear there are some parts within these areas to stay away from (like everywhere) but not familiar with the area enough to know.

Thanks

How big of a house are you looking for?
Some towns for you to look into would be Bordentown, Cherry Hill, Burlington, Pennsauken (although not the part of Pennsauken on the Camden border)

Depending on how big of a house you need, your budget is a little bit on the low side, but not completely crazy (north and central jersey prices get much crazier).

Also, the Barrington/Bellmawr area is also nice, but there are a lot more conservatives there compared to most of the state, which is worth noting if that's important to you.

AVOID CAMDEN AT ALL COSTS. There may be some slightly nicer parts to *visit*, but none of it is nice to live in. Please don't get tempted by the really low house prices there, it's not worth it.

Vineland, Bridgeton, and Lindenwold aren't necessarily dangerous, but they are more low income towns.

I live in Bellmawr, got a decent home a few years ago for $200k. Nice quiet neighborhood. I’d call myself the opposite of a conservative but have had no issues per say in the town. I like the close proximity to 295,l and Philly, as I fly out of PHL often for work. While the school district isn’t top tier, we will start my son in elementary school and look to move in a few years. Just my take, good luck!!

I grew up in Burlington township, safe area, decent schools, good sized houses and parks. Also look into Mount Laurel, Westampton, some area of Cherry Hill and Moorestown.

Jesus fuck, it's like no one ever looks for similar threads. Just go through the dozens of "moving here" threads over the past couple/few months. But no, everyone thinks "my case is special" - it's not. Go read the other threads.

There are many nice houses in that price range in Swedesboro or Mullica Hill. I'll send you a PM.

All around Cherry Hill (in Camden County), there are tons of tiny boroughs and some have areas that are nice and affordable enough to look into. My suggestion would be to set your searches in any of those and use your parameters on the site you're using to keep the high end shit out (so no Haddonfield or Collingwood, and probably no Merchantville since all the houses have been converted into Duplexes etc). As another commenter there are heavy Trumper areas, but not bad enough to not make a home there.
