No easily and it is very toxic so avoid if you have cats & dogs or very small kids.

You can spray your dogs fur with premetherin. It’s actually a recommended use from some vendors

Edit: I use Sawyer Premetherin on my pups while hiking and backpacking

I give my dog a bravecto pill from the vet that protects her from ticks for like 3 months

What happens if you have legs inside the pants?

You get a sticky toxin stuck to you? You can scrub it out. Repeated washings will eventually knock it off.

If you apply permethrin while you have the pants on it will stick to you AND your clothes. If you scrub enough it will come off but it takes work. That is why you apply to clothes you arent wearing it outside in a well ventilated area

i would hope that no one would apply it with their pants on

also... you need to be VERY VERY careful about applying it outside
