Strathmere, not that it is much of a town being part of Upper Township in Cape May County.

Ocean grove. Super quaint place to stay, and a baseball throw away from Asbury Park night life and boardwalk

OG is nice but crazy crowded and parking a nightmare. Plus weirdo religious restrictions (can’t go on the beach on “sabbath”,wtf, are we in Afghanistan). Try Avon, a couple towns south.

Deal? Not sure I would use the word quaint.

If you find Deal quaint you are gonna love some places further south. Ocean Grove, Avon by the Sea, Bay Head, Lavalette, Beach Haven, Ocean City, Cape May. The list goes on.

Strathmere. Only a handful of businesses in town, free parking and free big beaches. Town is three blocks wide at most and all rentals are walking distance. I am only telling you because I moved 2000 miles away.

Ocean Grove was founded in 1869 as an outgrowth of the camp meeting movement in the United States, when a group of Methodist clergymen, led by William B. Osborn and Ellwood H. Stokes, formed the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association to develop and operate a summer camp meeting site on the New Jersey seashore.[14] By the early 20th century, the popular Christian meeting ground became known as the "Queen of Religious Resorts."[15] The community's land is still owned by the camp meeting association and leased to individual homeowners and businesses. Ocean Grove remains the longest-active camp meeting site in the United States.

LOL Deal is the furthest thing from “quaint” that I can think of. Ocean Grove is great, parts of LBI have their charm (the show place ice cream parlor comes to mind), cape may is great.

Sea Isle City is great! (next to Strathmere, which I adore, too)! Sea Isle has free music a couple of nights a week, in the summertime, outside next to the beach. A lot of fun little shops and restaurants. Very cute and old fashioned in many ways. So much fun!

Cape may is very family paced. Nice strip of restaurants and places to stay and no boardwalk attractions so it’s quiet.

Lavallette - very few chain businesses, great small businesses and restaurants, gorgeous architecture, and no crime.

Deal is just about the least quaint town on the entire 126 mile coast. Highest average income in NJ, mostly mansions.
