My roommate and I are new to this city due to our jobs. We are thinking about to rent this April at The Ocean at 101 Boardwalk where it is at the end of the boardwalk. We want to know if it is safe to live there and how safe walking on the boardwalk is.

I can tell some skeptical area but I don’t know if the area where we might rent is okay.

Since we are new to this city, we appreciate any advice to avoid or keep a safe distance from the danger. Thank you!

Lmao, move to Absecon or Galloway or even Ventnor. 101 Boardwalk is NOT the best, the apartments are mildly gross.

101 boardwalk is at the very north end of the boardwalk. I’ve jogged, walked through that area and inland in the morning and night without any issues. No idea what 101 itself is like. YMMV, suggest getting a hotel room and walk around for yourself.
