NJ native that lives in New Orleans and neeeeeeds a pork roll fix. I normally put a roll in luggage with an ice pack and its fine on my three hour flight. However I forgot to pack it when I visited this weekend </3 Can I tell my sister to put it in the mail? even if I overnight it would take more than 12 hours I think.

Over the summer I was talking to the owner of a pork roll truck and he was telling me pork roll is so salted it doesnt realllly need much refrigeration. this makes me think its doable but I thought I'd consult a wider audience lol

I introduced my BIL to pork roll this summer when they were visiting. They live near Baton Rouge and he actually found it in one of their local grocery stores so maybe call around a little and you can find it locally?

I’d say you should be able to send it with dry ice versus regular ice. That’s how my dad transported chip steak to Colorado.

I get it shipped to Wisconsin often.
An insulated box like those food services on tv, and plenty of ice packs.
It arrives still frozen, but it isn't cheap.

The Pork Roll Store in Allentown NJ ships it. I buy a 6 lb chub and they also slice it when I go there. They have a FB.

There’s an Amazon seller for Taylor ham. It’s definitely not cheap. I think they ship it with dry ice
