I'm sure we can come up with some tech to keep the birds away. Sounds like a challenge for some NJ high schools or colleges to me. Maybe State funded.

Edit: Here's a freebie to get everyone rolling because I love CS and animals. A fleet of AI drones that intercept incoming flocks and play an incredibly irritating sound when in the vicinity of the birds until their vector is acceptable. There. Enjoy. They could station and charge right on top of the turbines.
