What’s up with Macopin Road In West Milford NJ?

Specifically near the end around the Apshawa Reserve? Anyone know any history of the road or if anything bad has happened on the land? Sightings etc? My good friend just moved around that area and heard some really strange sounds at night like someone humming or a wooden flute playing a tune. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the road and it’s history, etc.

I had a work friend whose in-laws lived at the end towards 23. He was an iron man participant and would run every night around 11/12 down Clinton road and sadly never had any good stories to share.

Was it last night? They held the Lunar Faire last night and there was probably wooden flute playing at some point (definitely hope it's ghosts tho, that's infinitely better)

They just sold it at the old jungle habitat on airport rd. No where near the end of Macopin road ! Definitely something supernatural

Im curious too, and I like researching and history. Also I know that West Milford NJ is weird as fuck and have seen lots of odd things in that town so I want to know what’s up in those woods !!!!

I doubt it is the case due to how finding and even hearing them is kinda tricky although wooded area could make it plausible, but Saw Whet Owls train whistle tooting is a startling unique thing to hear if you’re not familiar with it and near one.
