I really don’t have high expectations for police and definitely don’t have high expectations for point pleasant police.

How many conversations at the Point Pleasant police department revolve around moving to Florida?

It's North Carolina now. they're all afraid of the hurricanes and flooding, so they're all buying up real estate in Asheville, but they won't dare be caught admitting that climate change is a problem either.

That's hilarious. Asheville is like the Austin of NC. It's hippies, LGBTQ, artists, musicians, and generally left-wing stuff. They gonna hate it.

They probably agree with the attempted assault. so why would they charge? Also republican controlled town, and county...charging this isn't in their interest....smh

If it's a disorderly person's offense the comedian would be the one who needs to sign the complaint, not the police.

Police only sign them if the act is done within their presence, with very few exceptions to that, such as domestic violence.

Interesting! Thank you for informing me. I still stand by my statement though.

So you didn’t read the article starting they didn’t pursue charges because she didn’t want to press. Made some dumb misinformed comment. Got politely corrected, and still stood by your (wrong) statement.
