I'm also from SW Michigan (AZO) and never once have I considered it might be called "Cabbage Night" here.

Came here looking for this. Goosey night all the way. Growing up my Mom called it cabbage night (guess where she's from) and we laughed in her face everytime.

Is this still a thing? Feel like Gen Z is too busy on tik tok and playing fortnight. No signs of TP, silly string, shaving cream etc anywhere in my town

We actually saw a couple TP'd houses while out walking the dog last night! Caught some kids in the act actually, and they hid behind some bushes lol.

Huh, you can tell I grew up in Essex & Somerset, because even though I've been In PC since 98, I've never heard of this term.

It’s generational, at least in Bergen. My parents grew up in Saddle Brook/River Edge in the 70s and called it Cabbage Night. Growing up in the same area in the early 2000s, most of my friends called it Mischief Night.
