Have been trying to look for some around my area (ocean) and there’s none besides petco and petsmart. Are there any in central nj or near central nj and maybe even inside ocean county itself?

Tropiquarium closed in 2017. It was a great store.

Absolutely Fish is up in North Jersey (Clifton, right off parkway) and their staff/selection is fantastic. I worked at an aquarium for 5 years and they were my go-to store for building my reef tank.

There is a wholesaler in Arlington maybe north Arlington off of 21

You can try Fins and Feathers in Red Bank - They do a lot with dogs, cats and other pets. but they do have a selection of fish and reptiles. The owners are very helpful and will go out of their way for you.
