I see blairsden, the area looks so different from a birds eye view.

I just drove past this. Is it private? Didn't really see an area for hiking around it or fishing.

I live nearby and have never heard of Ravine Lake. Is it on private land?

Edit: it is a man made lake and is in Bernardsville not Far Hills.

It’s a private area, that’s for sure. Not sure about hiking, but there are no-fishing signs about the lake, which is shared by both Bernardsville and Far Hills. Beautiful lake and mansions around.

Used to travel up that way near Halloween. Blairsden is a classic old English manor house right out of old horror movies!

P.S. I guess wiki is indicating it's actually Beaux-Arts style

P.P.S. Ravine Lake used to have a private club, don't know if it still exists. Built by Mr. Blair I think as part of his estate.

P.P.P.S. Blairsden is supposedly in Peapack-Gladstone.

Yeah, I think the west side of the lake is Peapack-Gladstone, the east side of the lake is Far Hills.

I put Far Hills in the description, because Lake Rd is in Far Hills.

And pretty sure the Far Hills Country Day School is up the road more towards Bernardsville (East), so I'd expect at least that side of the lake to be Far Hills.

Apparently the private club still exists, been there since 1917. All Far Hills, no mention of memberships.
