So I moved out a few years ago and put a truckload of stuff in storage. Some of it is well made antique (brown wood) furniture (circa 1910).

My kids are not really into antique furniture but some of this stuff could brighten people’s lives.

I’m not looking to make money on it. Some could use a touch up and employ people. Some could go straight to market with a pretty good resale.

Can anyone suggest a non-denominational donation center near Rahway?

You should check out Freecycle.org. If you have things in working order people would be able to pick it up.

Do you have pics? I know someone who’s moving here from florida that lost all their furniture in the hurricane

Post it on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace and you'll be able to get rid of it quick.

Habitat for humanity has stores. Check their website to see if there is one by you.

This may be an excellent solution. A relative of mine had to enter an assisted living facility and gave away most of their furniture to a family that has lost everything in a fire. The family did the work of moving it all -- a double benefit.

Furniture assist in Kenilworth. I believe they'll even haul it away for you.
