Here is a better way to reword your question “ hi I am in the process of shooting a documentary about (subject) does any have any recommendations for film production” you should explain what kind of production you looking for like is it sports or entertainment as many production teams specialize in different types of productions. I am not a Karen for simply trying to answer a question that has no information.

Nah there was literally nothing wrong with his question and you kind of went out of your way to be belligerent about it. We could at least be honest about that. If you had nothing to add, you could have left well enough alone.
