There is a narrative being spread and false articles stating the Caven Point Peninsula is being sought by Liberty State National Golf Course's owner Paul Fireman.

We all have heard the innuendos being made at public rallies, chanting libelous accusations of an orchestrated plan to privatize Liberty State Park and the Caven Point Peninsula.

What if I shared with you a document, that proves the State of New Jersey and Department of Environmental Protection, actually sought Request For Proposals in developing the Caven Point Peninsula for recreational amenities in 2017.

Here are some hard facts:

https://www.nj.gov/dep/parksandforests/parks/business_ops/docs/REQUEST%20FOR%20PROPOSAL%20REVISED%2011.22.17%20Caven%20Point.pdf

Facts Don't Lie, People Do.

Most are unaware there lies over 300 acres of containmated parkland which has never been open to the public.

Now there's a plan to cleanup the toxic land and use only about 60 acres to provide recreational amenities, including tennis courts, track field, and Amphitheatre to host outdoor concerts.

As well as Community Gardens and Farmers Market.

Correct that this is state land and owned by the state but the RFP does not lie. This whole narrative about a golf course trying to buy state land is a twisted lie. Read the RFP that came from the state and you can see that it was the state seeking this and that they clearly state that they have not tested the soil beyond the heavy chromium they removed and whoever does anything on this land they will have to test it and clean it up. Those are the facts

They responded to the RFP that they want to develop the land for private use. Actual ownership is just semantics

Obviously, they responded to a legal RFP issued by the NJ Department of Environmental Protection. Read the RFP and you will understand Fact vs twisted lies

I did, you seem caught up in the semantics of the RFP and seem to ignore firemans proposal.

He will control the land and turn it from wetland to recreational facility of his proposal is selected.
