"Work across the aisle" to ban abortion, I mean cut spending to Planned Parenthood then ban abortion.

I'll be absolutely sick if Kean becomes my congressman just because of his magic "R". Answers no questions, makes no public statements, refuses to meet with independent groups for endorsement. Meanwhile Malinowski has been a transparent, thoughtful, accessible, and productive congressman. NJ really threw him to the wolves with the redistricting.

They slaughtered Malinowski's odds to put armor on Andy Kim. Maybe makes sense if you're a democrat playing the long game, but I'm just an independent in Malinowski's territory happy with his record so far, looking to keep my local representation intact. F all gerrymandering no matter which party does it.

Malinowski still has a puncher’s chance, 538 currently gives him 35 percent odds to hold on. Dems in the 7th must drive turnout like there is no tomorrow.

Gottheimer’s district also went from a toss up to +10D.

I'm in Gottheimer's district and he is such hot garbage. Wish I could vote for Malinowski or Kim.

kim, goettheimer, and sherill. malinowski got the short end of the stick because he won by the skin of his teeth two years ago.

sadly it was because he barely beat kean last time around. it sucks. i am mostly happy with the work malinowski has been doing in the district, but we're likely stuck with kean jr next year who will just vote for whatever bullshit national r's tell him to.

Those Tom Kean ads on YouTube are so terrible. Zero platform. All B.S.

the one on tv with the farmer is the same, but i fear it will be effective. i think their campaign thinks it too, because he's not basically out to slander malinowski like he did two years ago.

his "platform" is basically generic republican drivel.

  • "end wasteful spending" without identifying what he thinks is wasteful spending (just that malinowski did pelosi's bidding and voted for it. so was it the covid relief bills, or the infrastructure bill, or what?)
  • "promote american industry" (you know who's already done that? malinowski, who voted for the chips act, for example)
  • "support middle class tax relief" (insert the kek laughing gif here because we all know that he means in name only while his donor class friends continue paying zero in taxes)
  • "back energy independence" (which is another generic republican talking point that basically boils down to be friendly to the coal industry)

and that's it. at least he wants you to think that's it. don't forget he has an unlinked portion of his website here that he will put in fundraising emails but is too fucking chickenshit to just take ownershp of, because it's the same chickenshit buzzwordy things that "modern conservative" voters want to hear, but he knows doesn't go down well with more moderate types that make up a lot of this district.

seriously, for the love of god, if you live in the 7th (and if you're not sure if you are, look up your address in the state's tool and it will tell you your congressional district, make sure you're registered, and vote against this clown.

All politicians do that. When it was Murphys time for re-election you could tell he was out of his league. It looked like he was more interested in the audience reaction to his zings then anything. Sorry can't stand the guy, christi was no better.

The state had three major credit rating upgrades this year alone. Christie was worse because the rating dropped under him. There's just one specific about the Murphy administration to appreciate. Maybe you dislike them equally but they're not equal. Sure both sides bad etc etc but no, Tom Keane Jr has absolutely no platform except to surreptitiously ban abortion, which is the actual GOP platform nationwide. Not "reducing costs" and "reckless" spending and whatever bullshit to try to trick naive moderates.
