It's about time. The state has a half billion dollar backlog on Park improvements, and has neglected Revolutionary War historic sites forever. We'll need the tourism dollars after the Shore is washed out to sea.

There are so many tricentennial towns and cities in NJ that don't lean into their identity (looking at you Freehold). I like NJ and I'm happy to live here but for some reason we seem to lack the cultural identity of places that have a similarly long history.
