The protections IN the state aren't even that protective. We are a at will employment state and if you take a drug test for potential employment they can still deny you for being positive and just state another reason for not hiring if it ever came into question. So a job out of state would have no duty to adhere to NJ law outside of how to tax your check.

I don't think they could test for marijuana, though--they have no legitimate use for that info. They might as well ask if you're married, it's just opening them to lawsuits.

There is no law that says marijuana can not be tested for in employment. It is still being tested for, some companies don't but most do still. CREAMMA needs to be expanded.
