Each shoprite is individually owned, so maybe complain to the store in question. The only time I've seen 70% was on Sushi. We are halfway between two different stores with different owners. We discovered the shop-at-home cart price was consistently 5-10 cheaper at one store, so we go there whenever we can. Do you have other options you could try?

Sakers own 39 ShopRites. Inserra owns 23.
Saker owns everyone in my county. That doesn’t sound like individually owned at own.

Where I live Colallio owns the least expensive one, I don’t know the name of the other. If I drive 20 minutes there is another family. Yes they can own multiple stores

The Sakers own that many because they can afford to open that many. I will still shop there over Stop & Shop, Foodtown or Acme. I also shop at Lidl and Aldi for the basics. For variety of ethnic and specialty products I shop in Long Branch at Fine Fair and Asbury Park at City Supermarket.
