History, anyone?
Start in Trenton.. revolution sites.. start at the baracks (you start backwards...)
Up the Delaware to Washington's crossing, (if you have time, Valley Forge before that)... Up to Morristown... For his 2nd-5th winter encampment.... A side trip would show the watchung mountains which offered fabulous vantage points for defense. Back via rt 206 to Princeton (battlefield).
BTW, fabulous to see in winter, when he camped there
Again, if you have time, Freehold.. for the Monmouth battlefield.
If you have days, add downtown Philadelphia, perhaps Haddonfield across the river (the continental congress escaped Philadelphia for the Indian King tavern)....
Or, visit Ft Lee and the Palisades... George escaped NY here, a few days after the battle of Brooklyn.

Thank you for this comment, fellow history nerd. Saved me some time. Fort Lee reenactment is this weekend I believe, BTW. I know people camping there all weekend. Think about them warm in your bed at night lol.

Is Golden Nugget Flea close to you? Unsure how it operates in the winter but it’s a great stroll with lots of vendors.
