I'm moving to the area and seeing some 2BR apartments that I really like, but they're on the upper crust of what I really can afford, so I'd be interested in getting a roommate. However, I'm seeing a lot of the apartments only offering one parking space, which may make it a lot harder to find someone to split the rent with.
Is a 2BR with 2 parking spaces a pipe dream? Should I let that dream die and just get one with 1 space and figure out street parking? I'm considering then just dropping down to a 1BR, but they're not that much cheaper?
Any thoughts or experiences would be appreciated.

In my experience the standard is one parking spot, however I've seen many complexes offer additional spots at a monthly fee. It depends on the area, but usually people just go with street parking for the additional spot
